Russian is an important market for German economy- said in interview for „Berliner Zeitung” Eduard Kinsbruner, a member of Eastern German Economy Commission.
Not only russian companies are looking for investments in Germany, but also German’s enterprises are investing in Russia .. “Russia is one of the most important market for German economy”, said Kinsbruner: “in Russian is registered about 6000 of German companies”. According to the russian data, until the end of 2008, German companies had invested in Russia 17,4 mld. USD, 7,3 mld. USD of that amount were direct investments. If we take under consideration German investments in Russian made by third countries, that value is even bigger.
Russian-German cooperation had been touched by the crisis. As said Kinsbruner, in first quarter of 2009, number of workplaces connected to the russian export had decreased of 30%.
Russian enterprises are suffering of taken credits and have problems with import goods from Germany. German expert said that nowadays modernization of russian economy is very important.
Russia, despite of a crisis, is one of the most interesting outlet and investing area.
Germany together with russian partners can make projects in power, health, agriculture, modern technologies industry as well as in automobile industry.
